Job Description

We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician for our water solutions segment. This role executes all assigned work safely, effectively, and efficiently within the general scope for the maintenance electrician role. Provides feedback on preventative maintenance that might improve the process and notes additional work required on inspected equipment. Responds to emergency or unplanned work as needed, including callouts. Works on plant modifications, including work on capital improvements. Participates in the operation of plant utility systems. We have both a day shift and night shift opportunity for the right person.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting and advancing the site safety culture
  • Utilizing your strong background in preventative and predictive maintenance, reliability, and plant utilities to advance plant initiatives
  • Having a working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
  • Having equipment-specific knowledge and trouble shooting experience with boilers, steam systems, DC power supplies (rectifier-transformers), 3 and single phase motors and electrochemical processes.
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley controls.
  • Utilizing your strong interpersonal and leadership skills to enable you to work and communicate well with others.
  • Having good analytical skills and experience applying problem solving techniques aimed at root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Utilizing your project management skills and experience within a chemical manufacturing environment to advance plant initiatives
  • Working with computerized maintenance management software (SAP PM preferred), Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), and other computerized systems

What you'll bring to the team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical Journeymen
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred
  • Technical training strongly preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and Math and reading comprehension skills
  • Good computer skills
