We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking Industrial Designer to join our growing product development team. In this role, you will drive innovation, shape the future of Takomo’s product line, and design top-quality golf clubs and accessories that resonate with golfers worldwide.
Location: Joukahaisenkatu 1 C, Turku, Finland.
Work Model: Flexible hybrid (2–3 days remote flexibility, with a preference for regular on-site collaboration at our Turku office).
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time.
Travel: Occasional international travel (e.g., China, USA) when needed.

As part of the product team, you will work in a highly cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with colleagues across Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience. You will also maintain direct communication with our manufacturing partners and report to the Head of Product.

Cosmetic and industrial design of new products, primarily focusing on golf clubs across all categories.
Expand and refine our product portfolio over the coming years, including lifestyle and soft goods (e.g., golf bags and accessories).
Utilize CAD and other design tools of your choice to create, iterate, and finalize design concepts.
Partner with internal and production teams to deliver 3D renderings, technical illustrations, and clear product documentation.
Coordinate directly with factory R&D departments to guide the design process, review technical drafts, and manage the design approval workflow of a specific project.
Participate in weekly design reviews to evaluate test results, implement modifications, and ensure engineering feasibility.
Stay at the forefront of golf industry trends, performance data, and emerging manufacturing technologies.
Collaborate on the long-term product roadmap, balancing performance-driven enhancements with cutting-edge visual design.
3+ years of experience in industrial/product design, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting and forging.
Advanced proficiency in CAD software (tools can be tailored to your specific expertise).
Strong foundational knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing constraints.
A genuine passion for or deep knowledge of golf, gained either through personal experience or industry exposure.
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Strong graphic design skills and experience creating visual assets or renderings.
Prior experience working directly with international factories and suppliers.
Fluency in Finnish or Chinese is considered a distinct advantage.
A growth mindset with the ambition to take on increased responsibility as the company scales.
