Integrated Mill Systems (IMS) is a process automation solutions provider. IMS designs, builds, programs, and implements Level 1 control systems, primarily in support of the metals producing and processing market, providing a wide range of equipment and services for both new and retrofit projects. We currently have an opening for an experienced Industrial Control Panel Wireman to join the IMS Team The responsibilities include the assembly of electrical components into a control panel for industrial machines. Primarily use hand tools like screwdrivers, wire strippers and crimpers. It is critical to have strong verbal communication skills, keen eye for detail, and knowledge of safety best practices.

Hourly Range: $20.00 - $28.00 (based on experience)

Primary Duties:

  • Able to read blueprints and follow point-to-point wiring documents.
  • Wire equipment per electrical schematics/layouts.
  • Must be able to drill and tap.
  • Identify and mount components.
  • Assemble components per manufacturers specifications.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate compliance to general workmanship standards.
  • Possess the initiative to be self-motivated and produce quality work in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Additional specialized training or certification is a plus
  • 3 years of relative experience or equivalent

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • High level of motivation & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to be flexible & adaptive member of the IMS team.
  • A desire to continue to improve skills & knowledge to advance within the organization.
  • Works under moderate supervision
  • Ability to work overtime if necessary.
  • Maintain the tools used in your work area.
  • Keep a clear, safe and well-maintained workspace.
