Industrial & Commercial Electrician

Level Electrical Rolleston is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Industrial & Commercial Electrician to join our high-performing team.

From breakdowns and preventative maintenance to factory installations, commercial projects and industrial automation, no two days are the same.

What you’ll be doing

• Industrial and commercial electrical installations
• Fault finding and breakdown response
• Preventative maintenance across a range of industrial sites
• Factory upgrades, switchboards and motor control systems
• Commissioning and testing electrical installations
• Working on PLC and automation systems (or learning from experienced programmers)
• Reading electrical drawings and completing job documentation
• Leading installation teams on selected projects
• Mentoring apprentices and junior electricians

What we’re looking for

• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical work
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience with motor control systems and industrial equipment
• PLC or automation experience is an advantage but not essential—we’re happy to develop the right person
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
• A positive attitude and pride in delivering quality workmanship
