Level Electrical is expanding across Canterbury and we’re looking for experienced NZ Registered Industrial & Commercial Electricians to join our teams in Rolleston, Ashburton or Geraldine.

Whether you’re based in Christchurch, Mid Canterbury or South Canterbury, we have opportunities to suit your lifestyle.

Working across a wide variety of industrial and commercial sites, you’ll be involved in everything from breakdowns and preventative maintenance through to large-scale installations, factory upgrades and automation projects.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Industrial and commercial electrical installations
• Preventative maintenance and servicing
• Fault finding and breakdown response
• Factory upgrades and electrical fit-outs
• Motor control systems, switchboards and industrial equipment
• Commissioning and testing electrical installations
• Reading electrical drawings and completing job documentation
• Working alongside experienced PLC and automation specialists, with opportunities to develop your programming skills
• Mentoring apprentices and contributing to a strong team culture

What You’ll Bring

• Current NZ Electrical Registration and Practising Licence
• Industrial and/or commercial electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with motor control systems and industrial machinery
• PLC or automation experience is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
• A positive attitude with pride in producing quality workmanship
