
Benmax is investing heavily in robotics and automation, and we're looking for someone to help lead that charge. Based at our Queanbeyan, NSW workshop, you'll be working with modern robotic welding cells, industrial robots, PLCs and offline simulation tools (Verbotics), with real scope to shape how our workcells are designed, built and run, rather than just keeping legacy kit ticking over.
If you want to work on the newest equipment in the shed, not the oldest, and you'd rather be designing and commissioning systems than just maintaining them, this role is built for that.
What you'll be doing
You'll own the full lifecycle of our robotic welding cells and automated assembly and test systems: drafting workcell layouts in Revit and Inventor, programming robots, PLCs and HMIs, and supporting our transition from manual to automated production. Day to day, that looks like:
