Job Role

The Indonesia Country Director will be responsible for leading and developing the company's logistics and supply chain operations in Indonesia. This role holds full accountability for business growth, operational execution, financial performance, and risk management across the country.

The successful candidate will drive market expansion strategies, develop new business channels, manage key customer and supplier relationships, and ensure efficient logistics operations. In addition, the role will oversee budgeting, profitability analysis, and operational optimization while ensuring compliance with local regulations and international logistics standards.

This position is highly strategic and operational, requiring strong leadership in managing country-level logistics business performance within a fast-growing international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead the overall business development and operational strategy for the Indonesia market.
• 
  Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain services.
• 
  Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners in Indonesia.
• 
  Develop and execute country-level business plans, budgets, and cost-control strategies.
• 
  Oversee financial performance, including revenue tracking, profitability analysis, and ROI evaluation.
• 
  Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and cross-border supply chain activities.
• 
  Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations, customs requirements, and international logistics standards.
• 
  Establish and implement risk management frameworks and operational control systems.
• 
  Lead local team development, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and performance management.
• 
  Coordinate with regional and headquarters teams to align business strategies and operational goals.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.
• 
  Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, or international trade operations.
• 
  Strong understanding of international logistics processes, including sea freight, air freight, warehousing, and bonded logistics.
• 
  Proven experience in country-level or regional business leadership roles is highly preferred.
• 
  Strong knowledge of Indonesia logistics regulations, customs procedures, and market environment.
• 
  Experience in cross-border e-commerce logistics or overseas warehouse operations is an advantage.
• 
  Strong business development and market expansion capabilities.
• 
  Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• 
  Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• 
  Fluent English and Mandarin (Chinese) is required.
