JD for the Techno-Functional role.

We are seeking an experienced SAP DRC Techno Functional Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Document and Reporting Compliance solutions across global statutory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, localization frameworks, e-invoicing, e-reporting, and a good balance of functional and technical skills.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements related to statutory reporting, e-invoicing, and digital tax compliance across geographies.
  • Configure and implement SAP DRC.
  • Work closely with finance, tax, and compliance teams to ensure legal reporting compliance.
  • Support country-specific localization requirements (e.g., India e-Invoicing, GST, Italy SDI, Mexico CFDI, etc.).
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
  • Support periodic filings such as VAT returns, SAF-T, Intrastat, etc.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance custom objects (RICEF) using ABAP / CDS views / APIs where required.
  • SAP DRC integration understanding with external government portals via APIs, middleware, CPI, or partner solutions.
  • Work on XML/JSON mapping, message structures, and compliance schema.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to DRC frameworks and eDocument processing.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting frameworks.
  • Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • SAP DRC/eDocument Framework
    • SD pricing understanding.
    • Tax and compliance processes (VAT, GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill)
    • Financial Accounting (FI) and reporting
    • Experience with global compliance requirements (at least 1–2 regions preferred).

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of:
    • ABAP (RICEF objects)
    • CDS Views & OData services
    • SAP Integration (CPI / PI/PO / APIs)
    • XML/JSON, schemas, and digital signature handling
    • SAP tables and data structures for DRC
