Job Description

The Procurement Senior Specialist is an experienced individual contributor who independently executes the Sourcing Management Process (SMP) across assigned spend categories within Animal Health Global Supplier Management (AH GSM).

Operating with limited supervision, the role is accountable for delivering value, risk management, and stakeholder satisfaction through disciplined sourcing execution, supplier management, and contract lifecycle management. The position supports Indirect Services Procurement for selected markets, with scope across Indirect categories such as Corporate Services, IT, Marketing, Fleet, TCM, Devices and Integrated Logistics as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

· Independently lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, award, and implementation

· Conduct fact-based supplier, market, and cost analysis to support category and sourcing strategies

· Develop cost models and purchase price analyses to inform value-based decision making

· Negotiate and implement contracts and commercial agreements in alignment with company policies and approval frameworks

· Execute supplier risk, compliance, and third-party management activities, including mitigation planning

· Manage supplier performance through defined KPIs, governance routines, and continuous improvement actions

· Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide procurement expertise and guidance

· Contribute to procurement capability building through sharing of best practices, tools, and learnings

Required Qualifications

Education

Graduate degree required in a business, supply chain, engineering, scientific, or related discipline

Experience & Capabilities

5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or relevant commercial experience

Demonstrated ability to independently manage sourcing projects and supplier relationships

Solid commercial judgment and negotiation capability

Experience working with ERP and procurement platforms (SAP, Ariba)

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights

· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

· Fluency in English, additional language is an advantage
