Job Description

Req ID:523872

At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85 000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

More than a job: a mission

As an Indirect Regional Commodity Professional in Taubate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain. Your work will directly support the seamless operation of rail systems that connect communities and power progress across the region.

Your role, Your impact

  • Manage and optimize indirect commodity sourcing to support project delivery and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and innovation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance.
You'll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and design — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility. As an Indirect Regional Commodity Professional, your expertise will help ensure our supply chain is robust and future-ready.

What you bring

  • Ability to align procurement activities with strategic business goals.
  • Experience empowering teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong skills in building trust, collaboration, and inclusive environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering on commitments and driving results.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on sustainable, value-driven solutions.

How success is measured

  • Achievement of cost savings and efficiency targets in indirect sourcing.
  • Quality and reliability of supplier partnerships and contract execution.
  • Contribution to team development, innovation, and process improvement.

Alstom, a great place to grow

  • Opportunities for professional development and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning.
  • Supportive environment for career growth and making a real-world impact.
Here, progress isn't always easy — the scale is massive, the tasks are complex — but the impact is real.
Because when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects — that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
