Indirect Procurement Internship
Indirect Procurement (IP) is a Finance function dealing with the purchases of goods and services not directly involved in product manufacturing like raw materials. Its scope covers Logistics & Transportation, Marketing & Communication, Property & Facilities, Human Resources, General Services, Professional Services, Travel & Events, Marketing & POS, IT & Telecom.
As an Indirect Procurement Intern, you will be at the heart of the procurement activities of Chanel Benelux and Scandinavia working on all Divisions (Fashion, Fragrances & Beauty, Watches & fine Jewelry) and Corporate activities.
What impact you can create at CHANEL
You will provide support in the evolvement of the Procurement function and its tools, sharing best procurement practices and support internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and how they can be met. Specifically, the internship is expected to focus on purchases up to 25 k€ per year. During the internship you will be supporting business teams on the management of the procurement process, from strategic sourcing, professional negotiation, contract management, vendor performance, risk assessment, and overall category management. You will be expected to provide reporting on the performance of projects and to ensure the relevant documentation is provided to the European IP team.
