Indirect Operations Buyer
The operational buyer is the main contact for indirect purchasing with stakeholders, suppliers, and strategic buyers, he/she is responsible for negotiating the best commercial agreements with suppliers of indirect material, supported by Autoliv´s policies and code of ethics, the operational buyer solves problems and looks for savings opportunities and participates actively to find VEVA opportunities to improve cost and process, as well to become a trusted advisor for the stakeholders.
• Develop local suppliers in relation to risk, quality, and cost.
• Negotiate local and better commercial agreements.
• Review purchase requisitions and identify sources of supply for spot buys.
• Market evaluations to review the competitiveness of the suppliers.
• Carry out tenders promoting equal participation of suppliers, validate information and analyze proposals.
• Advice internal stakeholders on procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stages of the procurement cycle.
• International Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering Degree
• Advanced English skills
• Purchasing experience from 1- 5 years
• Purchasing management (preferred)
