Join ThermoFisher Scientific as a Buyer II - Indirect Procurement and make a meaningful impact on global science and healthcare. You'll contribute to ensuring the seamless supply of materials and services that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working in a procurement environment, you'll manage supplier relationships, drive cost optimization, and ensure timely delivery of critical materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You'll work with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of procurement/buying experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with ability to achieve cost savings
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, Coupa, Mosaic, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a professional environment
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
