Job Description

The Installation & Indirect COE Leader is a member of the Wind Sourcing Leadership Team. The role leads a global team responsible for sourcing indirect materials, labor, cranes, and related commodities to support our global supply chain, install base, and project sites. You will be responsible to partner with key stakeholders to build a differentiating strategy and execute the strategy through the value chain.

Essential Functions

  • Accountable for developing, leading and implementing activities to deliver on safety, quality, delivery (Lead time, capacity, fulfillment), and landed/ lifecycle cost
  • Own the overall spend across the business and drive daily management into delivering on business targets
  • Drive alignment with internal stakeholders on commodity strategies, working closely with Services Functional Leader on Crane and Labor optimization
  • Align with Finance and Services teams on annual cost reduction targets and develop operational plan for supply chain to deliver continuous cost improvement
  • Partner with Services and Fleet Performance Management to optimize crane utilization rates and mobilization costs
  • Accountable for supply base management (strategic supplier management) to the balanced score card metrics
  • Leverage should cost data, negotiation strategies, and commodity strategies to deliver on cost targets
  • Develop complex, global supplier/ buyer contractual and strategic relationships, managing price, cash, and quality
  • Develop and lead the team in the implementation of continuous improvement activities and operationalize standard work
  • Drive 100% compliance to sourcing policy / procedures, supplier approval, competitive bidding, and delegation of authority approval

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of buyer, global commodity, logistics, and/or supply quality experience
  • Prior relevant leadership experience

  • Experience leading, developing, and executing multi-year global commodity strategies
  • Deep experience with Wind turbine component cost structure and supply base
  • Proven strong results with supplier strategy, commodity negotiations, supplier selection, and contracts management

  • Advanced degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $ 198,400 and $297,600 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
