The Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking an Indigenous Student Success Officer to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying the Associate Degree in Applied Policing at the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide culturally safe, holistic support throughout the student journey from enrolment through to graduation. Working closely with the School of Social Sciences, the Badanami Centre for Indigenous Education and other University support services, you'll help students navigate university processes, access the right support, and achieve their academic goals.
You'll become a trusted first point of contact for students and their families, providing advice, mentoring, pastoral care and case management while building strong relationships across the University and the NSW Police Academy.
