  • Base Salary $103,185 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

This position has been designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only under the provisions of section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

The Indigenous Project Officer will support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to thrive at the University through assisting to develop culturally informed Library spaces and engagement services.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Coordinate and implement strategic projects to support the cultural wellbeing and academic success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
  • Collaborate and engage to help create culturally informed Library spaces and engagement services
  • Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff to enable best outcomes

About you

  • identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • experience supporting Indigenous initiatives
  • experience in working with a diverse group of stakeholders in a project capacity and the ability to develop/cultivate productive relationships
  • excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
