Job Description

Who are Asuria?

We are a leading provider of Employment Services in Australia, dedicated to connecting individuals with sustainable employment opportunities. We are a company that beats to an Enterprising Heart and our mission is to inspire, support and guide participants to unlock their full potential. Our people are at the heart of everything we do!

What will you do?

In this role, you will build genuine, culturally safe relationships with Indigenous participants, supporting them to overcome both vocational and non-vocational barriers and move toward meaningful employment. You will achieve success in this by:

  • Building strong, respectful relationships with participants, recognising that trust is earned over time
  • Providing tailored coaching and support that develops long-term capability, not just short-term outcomes
  • Identifying and addressing barriers such as housing instability, justice involvement, health, and personal circumstances
  • Navigate sensitive or challenging conversations while maintaining trust
  • Understanding the unique needs, strengths, and aspirations of each participant
  • Collaborating with community stakeholders and internal teams to provide holistic support
  • Working closely with employers to create meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities
  • Achieve sustainable employment through building capability with our participants

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is highly relational, adaptable, and committed to making a genuine difference. You will bring skills and experience such as:

  • Proven ability to build trust with individuals who may be disengaged from services
  • Experience working with people facing complex barriers (e.g. justice system involvement, trauma, housing instability, or long-term unemployment)
  • Strong cultural awareness and/or experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • The ability to adapt your communication style to suit different individuals and cultural contexts
  • Resilience, patience, and the ability to work in an environment where progress is not always linear

Why this role matters

This is not a purely administrative or transactional role. It requires resilience, emotional intelligence, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals through complex barriers.

Your work will contribute to improving employment outcomes and long-term wellbeing for Indigenous participants and their communities.

What can we offer you?

All Asurians enjoy a raft of Employee Benefits including:

  • Access to career development opportunities
  • Up to 15 weeks of paid Parental Leave
  • Bonus Leave days
  • Salary Sacrificing for Superannuation and Novated Leasing
  • Employee discount program covering a range of goods and services
