Manager – US Payroll

Location: Indore
Lead and manage end-to-end US payroll operations for 40,000+ employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Oversee payroll team, handle complex transactions, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and vendors. Accelerated processing during holidays required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle weekly and biweekly payroll for salary and hourly employees.
Handle validations, reconciliations, HSDL loads, off-cycle and mass payments.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for payroll and compliance.
Prepare and analyze payroll reports; identify process improvements.
Ensure adherence to policies, deadlines, and confidentiality standards.
Lead and motivate payroll team; resolve employee queries promptly.
Manage US and Canada payroll schedules and third-party transactions.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field.
7+ years payroll experience, including 5+ years multi-state.
3+ years managerial experience.
3+ years Oracle HCM Cloud experience.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).
Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, UKG, ServiceNow.
Ability to manage confidential data and work under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
