Location : Airoli, Navi Mumbai

Purpose of Job:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting invoices from designated portals, accurately capturing invoice line-item details in Excel, cleaning and structuring extracted data, and supporting data modelling activities. The role will ensure that invoice data is complete, consistent, and suitable for reporting and business analysis.

Key Accountabilities :

• Access designated customer, supplier, or internal portals and download invoices and supporting documents.
• Review each invoice and enter individual line-item details into the prescribed Excel template, including quantity, unit cost, item description, discount, total amount, make, and model.
• Check invoice entries against the source document to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Clean extracted Excel data by removing duplicates, correcting errors, clearing unwanted or incorrectly extracted information, and standardising descriptions and formats.
• Organise and structure Excel data so that it is ready for analysis, reporting, and system upload.
• Identify missing, unclear, or inconsistent invoice information and coordinate with the relevant team for clarification.
• Use Excel functions such as lookups, formulas, filters, PivotTables, and other data manipulation techniques to process and analyse invoice data.
• Maintain clear records of completed invoices, exceptions, corrections, and source documents.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in commerce, finance, data analysis, supply chain, or a related field.
• Good experience in data entry, or extraction of invoice information from portals and documents.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, formulas, filters, PivotTables, sorting, and data cleaning.
• Ability to understand invoice elements such as quantity, unit cost, description, discount, total, make, and model.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to identify data discrepancies.
• Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume work while meeting agreed timelines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Desirable:

• Experience working with multi-currency invoices and large invoice datasets.
