About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Independent Director to join the Board of this innovative Agri-Tech venture dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture and driving measurable environmental and social impact. The Independent Director will provide strategic direction and governance oversight with a strong focus on ESG, sustainability, and impact metrics, ensuring the company’s growth aligns with responsible business practices and long-term stakeholder value.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on integrating ESG principles into the company’s business model and operations.
• Advise on sustainability frameworks, impact measurement, and reporting mechanisms aligned with global standards.
• Oversee the organization’s environmental and social performance, ensuring accountability and transparency in impact outcomes.
• Support the Board and leadership team in setting sustainability goals, assessing progress, and identifying improvement areas.
• Offer insights on climate resilience, sustainable sourcing, regenerative agriculture, and technology-driven impact solutions.
• Contribute to corporate governance discussions, bringing an independent perspective to risk management, compliance, and ethical oversight.
• Champion stakeholder engagement by strengthening the company’s reputation with investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Serve as an ambassador for the organization’s sustainability mission within the broader Agri-Tech and ESG ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven board or senior leadership experience, ideally in Agri-Tech, sustainability, or impact-driven sectors.
• Deep understanding of ESG, sustainability frameworks, and impact measurement methodologies.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance growth, innovation, and governance priorities.
• Experience in sustainable finance, carbon management, or Agri-value chain transformation is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
