NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated overnight linehaul route within our established Fort Wayne, IN operation. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a reliable car or SUV looking for a consistent weekday route with predictable earnings. Your Mission

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure freight is transported safely and on schedule while maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and professionalism.
• Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to efficiently complete your nightly linehaul route while meeting scheduled delivery windows.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Represent NOW Courier professionally during pickups and deliveries while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Problem Solving Skills: Adapt to changing road conditions and operational needs to keep freight moving efficiently.

Route Details & Schedule (Fort Wayne Area)

• Compensation: Per Route (Estimated route revenue: $350 per day)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start/End Time: 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Required Vehicle: Car or SUV
• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 1,750 miles per week
• Daily Stops: Approximately 5
• Geographical Area: Fort Wayne, South Bend, Merrillville, and surrounding service areas.
• Sorting: Light.

Vehicle Requirements

• Candidates must possess a reliable car or SUV
• The vehicle must be 2013 model year or newer This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards while providing dependable transportation for deliveries.

To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

• Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
• Vehicle: Own a vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
• Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Successfully complete our pre-employment process before beginning work, which includes:
• Driving History Review (past 36 months)
• Criminal Background Check
• Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening
