We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to join ourclaimsteam. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable cloud-based solutions for GuidewireClaimCenterusing GWCP andAWS, lead migration projects, build integrations using AWS and messaging technologies, manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation, enhance CI/CD automation, implement security and monitoring, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliverhigh‑qualitysolutions forGuidewireClaimCenteron Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)

• Lead and supportcloud migration initiatives for Core Claims applications

• Buildcloud‑nativesolutionsusing AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS,EventBridge, S3, RDS, and API Gateway

• Design and implementmessaging and integration solutions, including JMS Bridge, IBM MQ, JMS, and AWS messaging services

• Supporthybrid integrationsbetweenon‑premisessystems and AWS during migration

• Develop and manageInfrastructure as Code (IaC)using Terraform and CloudFormation

• Build, support, and enhanceCI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational readiness

• Implementsecurity, resiliency, monitoring, and observabilityusing AWS best practices (IAM, encryption, CloudWatch)

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues

• Participate inAgile development processesto deliverhigh‑quality, reliable solutions

• Mentor team members and enforce development standards and best practices

• Document solutions, designs, and operational processes

• Continuouslyexploreemerging technologies, includingGenerative AI development tools, to improve solutions and processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with8+ yearsof experience in application software development

• 5+ yearsofhands‑onexperience withAWS cloud servicesandGuidewireInsuranceSuite(ClaimCenterpreferred)

• Strong experience working withGuidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)

• Working knowledge of GWCP features such as Autopilot,IntegrationGateway, and App Events

• ProficiencyinGosu, JavaPythonand SQL

• Experience developing and consumingSOAP and REST web services

• Hands‑onexperience withAWS infrastructure and cloud architecture

• Experience withInfrastructure as Codeusing Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Experience withmessaging and integration technologies(JMS Bridge, IBM MQ, JMS, AWS messaging services)

• Strong background inDevOps and CI/CD practices, using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, TeamCity, Rally, SonarQube, etc.

• Experience implementingsecurity, resiliency, andmonitoringbest practices in AWS

• Exposure toGenerative AI development tools

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, andproblem‑solvingskills

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working incross‑functionalAgile teams

Nice to Have Skills

• Guidewire cloud certification

• AWS Solutions architect Associate or professional certifications

• Familiarity withDataDogand Splunk

• Experience withself-managedGuidewireInsuranceSuiteproducts

• Experience with Spring Batch

• Familiarity with google Cloud Platform or Gen AI services will be a great add on but not mandatory.
