About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Team Leader to supervise and motivate the incoming team at our new Dandenong South Distributioncentre. You’ll ensure smooth daily operations, efficient order put away, picking, and timely operations communications while promoting safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the incoming team to meet daily targets and KPIs.

• Coordinate container arrivals, unloads, and collections.

• Ensure accurate receipting and quality checks of incoming stock.

• Oversee put-away processes to ensure correct location and minimal damage.

• Personally assist with unloading and put-away tasks as required.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.

• Train and develop team members to build a skilled and flexible workforce.

• Monitor workplace safety, incidents, and equipment checks.

• Utilise warehouse systems to ensure stock accuracy and efficiency.

What You Bring:

• Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or inbound environment.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Commitment to safety and team development.

• A good understanding of ERP-type processes.

• Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment.

• Safe manual handling capability (up to 15 kgs).

• Forklift Licence (High reach) - Highly desirable.
