Incoming Quality Inspection (IQC) Engineer

The Incoming Inspection Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and supplier deliveries comply with HUBER+SUHNER quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable international standards before release to production. The position contributes to supplier quality performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the Tunisian plant and in alignment with the corporate quality network.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and supplier deliveries according to inspection plans, drawings, specifications, and internal procedures.
• Validate conformity of incoming products using measuring and testing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HUBER+SUHNER quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable ISO requirements.
• Manage incoming inspection records, test reports, certificates of conformity, and traceability documentation.
• Create and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected materials and ensure proper containment actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Production to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Follow up supplier corrective actions and verify implementation effectiveness.
• Participate in root cause analysis activities using quality methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and Pareto analysis.
• Support supplier evaluations, audits, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming quality, inspection efficiency, and supplier performance.
• Ensure proper calibration and usage of measuring equipment.
• Monitor and report incoming quality KPIs and support management reporting activities.
• Respect HSE rules, company procedures, and HUBER+SUHNER corporate values.

Requirement

Qualifications:

• University degree in Quality, Engineering or related field.
• 3 years as minimum experience in Incoming Quality or Supplier Quality within an industrial environment, preferably automotive or electronics industries.
• Good knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO14001.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and control plans.
• Hands-on experience with measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5 Why, etc.).
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
