Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) PPS/Ongoing Support
Officer

Outer West Sydney ESA - Servicing Mt Druitt, Blacktown
and Seven Hills

Global Skills has recently been awarded contracts to deliver
the Australian Government’s IEA program in Outer Western Sydney, Central
Western Sydney, Fairfield, Macarthur and Northern Sydney regions.

IEA has replaced Disability Employment Services; a program
Global Skills has been delivering since 2006. Designed to create a more
inclusive future for people with a disability, injury and/or a health
condition, IEA places each person’s unique goals and needs at the heart of the
program. Participants will receive personalised support to prepare for, secure
and maintain meaningful employment.

We are looking for a Post Placement/Ongoing Support
Officer (Workplace Support Officer)in the Outer Western
Sydney ESA to work across our Mt Druitt, Blacktown and Seven Hills offices.

About the jobs

Post Placement/Ongoing Support Officers:

Deliver intensive pre and post placement workplace support
for early identification of job retention risk with the objective to ensure job
sustainability, including job shadowing, identification of skill development,
assistance with induction and workplace modifications and coaching as requested
by the employer and participant.

  • Build
    positive relationships with employers for brokering or sustaining
    employment
  • Ensuring
    performance benchmarks are achieved
  • Ensure
    compliance with National Standards for Disability Services, ISO
    27001:2022/RFFR accreditation and other quality initiatives and compliance
    requirements
  • Adhere
    to WHS policies, all Information Security and Privacy requirements,
    understand, and apply Deed and guideline requirements

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience
    in disability or employment services and/or an ability to build rapport
    with people from diverse backgrounds specifically persons with a
    disability, injury or illness
  • Preferably
    hold qualifications in Employment, Community or Disability services or a
    related/higher level qualification
  • Possess
    exceptional communication skills and a passion for helping others and
    making a difference
  • Share
    our commitment to providing the highest standard of customer service and
    collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Have
    an understanding of the local labour market, career and training
    opportunities
  • Have
    experience working to deadlines and/or KPIs
  • Possess
    strong administration skills and IT literacy
  • Be
    willing to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Working with
    Children Check and other checks as deemed necessary
  • Be
    eligible to work in Australia
  • Have
    a full unrestricted driver’s licence, good driving record and be willing
    to travel as required
