
Inclusive Employment Adviser (Part-Time)
Location: Reading (office-based with occasional outreach)
Hours: 15 hours per week (approx. 2 flexible days)
Salary: £30,000 pro rata

Fedcap UK is seeking a passionate Inclusive Employment Adviser to support Reading residents with autism and/or learning disabilities to access and sustain meaningful employment.
Working with both participants and employers, you will help identify suitable job opportunities and provide guidance on workplace adjustments, wellbeing support and inclusive employment practices to ensure individuals can thrive at work.
What You’ll Do:
• Conduct pre-work assessments with participants to understand health, wellbeing and workplace needs.
• Support individuals with autism and learning disabilities into appropriate work placements.
• Provide advice on workplace adjustments and inclusive job design.
• Develop tailored in-work health and wellbeing support plans.
• Liaise with Access to Work and other support services.
• Identify employment opportunities and promote candidates directly to employers.
• Build relationships with employers and HR teams across the local labour market.
• Encourage inclusive recruitment for individuals with disabilities and additional support needs.
• Work with health professionals and partners to support smooth transitions into employment.
• Deliver employer engagement activity and agreed performance targets.
What You’ll Bring:
• Experience supporting individuals with health conditions, autism or learning disabilities into employment.
• Strong communicator able to engage confidently with employers and participants.
• Knowledge of workplace adjustments and wellbeing support.
• Empathetic, organised and able to self-manage workload.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
