About the Role
As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be energetic, creative, dedicated and driven to assist children with additional needs to independently engage with their peers and learning environment.
You’ll work closely with the broader team to implement tailored strategies that promote confidence, participation and a strong sense of belonging. Your ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to each child’s individual strengths and needs will be essential in helping every child flourish.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:
Essential Criteria:
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• Understanding of contemporary child-safe practices or willingness to acquire this knowledge
• Availability for permanent part-time employment on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am–2:30pm, with flexibility as required
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Food Safety, and Child Protection certifications, including a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willingness to obtain or refresh as required), and completion of national mandatory child protection training.
