We are currently seeking a superb Inclusion Support Educator to join the team at our stunning Early Childhood service in Charmhaven, NSW!

About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be energetic, creative, dedicated and driven to assist children with additional needs to independently engage with their peers and learning environment.

You’ll work closely with the broader team to implement tailored strategies that promote confidence, participation and a strong sense of belonging. Your ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to each child’s individual strengths and needs will be essential in helping every child flourish.

• Interest in, passion for and/or experience in working with additional needs children
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming, practice, and pedagogy, as well as the RIE approach
• Enthusiastic, committed and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Ability and motivation to build and maintain positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
• ACECQA approved Early Childhood and/or Allied Health qualifications i.e. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or working towards (highly regarded).

Essential Criteria:

• • Valid NSW Working With Children Check or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement
  • Understanding of contemporary child-safe practices or willingness to acquire this knowledge
  • Availability for permanent part-time employment on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am–2:30pm, with flexibility as required
  • Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Food Safety, and Child Protection certifications, including a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willingness to obtain or refresh as required), and completion of national mandatory child protection training.
