About the Role

Uniting Preschool Caves Beach is looking for a Cert III Inclusion Support Educator to join our team and provide dedicated support to a child within our preschool environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills to help a child participate in learning, play and everyday experiences while building positive relationships and supporting their individual development and wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build a positive, trusting and respectful relationship with the child and their family.
• Support the child's learning, development, inclusion and sense of belonging.
• Work in partnership with the Educator team and family to implement inclusive learning experiences and strategies.
• Respond to the child's individual needs, support their emotional regulation, and encourage their engagement and participation in the learning environment.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the ongoing quality of the service.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Certificate III in Children's Services.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• GECKKO National Child Protection Training Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Working Rights Check.
• An understanding of inclusive practice and supporting children with diverse needs.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• A caring, patient and inclusive approach.
• A strong understanding of your responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and a commitment to child safety.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A commitment to Uniting's values and our focus on creating safe, inclusive and person-centred environments.
