Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

As the Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) Country Partner, you will be a strategic leader responsible for the localized execution and measurable impact of our I&B Strategy. You will partner with senior leaders to translate enterprise standards into meaningful local initiatives, ensuring an inclusive culture is deeply woven into our daily business outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to champion a culture of belonging while holding local leadership accountable for sustainable, inclusive progress.

The Opportunity

  • Lead the implementation of the I&B and divisional strategies within your designated country.

  • Partner with local senior leaders to strengthen I&B within business units, linking it directly to specific strategic priorities.

  • Equip leaders with practical tools and resources to achieve measurable outcomes through tailored KPIs and metrics.

  • Provide thought leadership and expertise, ensuring I&B is linked to the local business strategy in areas of greatest impact.

  • Diagnose evolving local needs by listening to the organization and developing proactive, localized interventions.

  • Serve as an executive coach to senior leaders, building I&B capability and mentoring colleagues across the country.

  • Manage resource allocation and prioritization, making strategic trade-offs regarding budget and capacity.

  • Embed I&B behaviors into the local organizational culture so they become part of both strategic and daily employee experiences.

Who You Are

You are a visionary leader who understands that inclusion is a driver of culture change and employee engagement. You thrive in international environments and possess the cultural intelligence needed to translate global strategy into local reality.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • Influence Strategically: Partner directly with senior division leaders to actively shape their people agenda.

  • Mobilize Communities: Activate the organization and drive matrixed resources without needing direct authority.

  • Deliver Tangible Impact: Move past the "theory" of I&B and deliver concrete, measurable results that empower the business.

  • Extensive Leadership Experience: Over 10 years of experience in I&B or a related field, with a significant focus on leading the agenda at a country level.

  • Strategic & Data-Driven Mindset: A proven ability to demonstrate ROI by linking data to business outcomes and using insights to drive recommendations.

  • Executive Influence: Outstanding skills in collaborating with and influencing management at all levels, including securing commitment for major initiatives.

  • International Acumen: Deep understanding of the cultural, social, and economic dynamics within international markets.

  • Change Management Expertise: Experience transforming how an organization relates to I&B and integrating these practices into people processes.

  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) is required to effectively partner with local and global stakeholders.
