Inbound Material Planner

Minimum Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, supply planning or equivalent.

Minimum Relevant work experience: Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar field.

Nestlé Cameroun is currently looking for an Inbound Material Planner to effectively manage all the transactional processes and documents for procurement and day to day claims in a timely manner to ensure the adequate supply of raw and packaging materials.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders.
  • Tactical Procurement activities for items not in Easy Buy or for items which require competitive bidding:
  • Negotiation and/or negotiation support in close cooperation with the strategic buyer
  • Ensure sourcing strategies implementation together with strategic buyer.
  • Ensure the lowest Total cost of ownership for the different sourcing projects.
  • Ensure purchase requestors receive all required information and documentations (Pro forma, Single sourcing form, OTV approved form, details of contract, down payment forms, completed PO after invoice form, emails, approved PCF etc.) for PR creation in SAP or Easy Buy (Where competitive bidding is required).
  • Responsible for

- Initiating Vendor Master Data paperwork for SAP

- Initiation and clearing of downpayment

- Following up on PO approvals.

  • Daily monitoring and ensuring all raw and packaging materials due for delivery are delivered by the suppliers accordingly and where deliveries will delay delivery dates are re-scheduled in the POs and stakeholders informed.
  • Monitoring of raw and packaging material stock covers at our warehouse and ensure availability.
  • Monitor and ensure all open PRs are converted into POs by the NGBS CoS team daily.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, supply planning or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar field.
  • Must be analytical and proactive.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI would be added advantages.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and Experience with other Microsoft Office tools (Power point & Word).
  • Good organizational, Leadership and Initiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese (both written & spoken).
