The opportunity:
Join Hitachi Energy's logistics team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. As an Inbound Delivery Specialist, you will keep our supply chain running smoothly. You will manage SAP transactions and connect suppliers, systems, and internal teams. This role gives you the chance to build deep expertise in logistics and SAP. You will work alongside collaborative, cross-functional teams every day. You will grow professionally through meaningful work that drives real operational impact.
How you'll make an impact:
Create inbound delivery notes in SAP based on shipping documents
Maintain SAP handling units, including physical parameters of purchased materials
Provide Transport Planners with accurate data for timely transport arrangements
Communicate with suppliers to clarify discrepancies in shipping documents
Build strong relationships with purchasing, logistics, and direct-material supplier teams
Coordinate inbound delivery data flow from purchase order to final booking in SAP
Your background:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in logistics or purchasing
English proficiency at B2 level or above, spoken and written
Hands-on experience with SAP logistics or purchasing modules
Knowledge of transport terminology, regulations, and incoterms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
