The Opportunity:

Hitachi Energy is currently seeking an Inbound Delivery Specialist to join our team in Krakow. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage transactional activities in SAP, ensuring smooth data flow between suppliers, systems and internal teams.

Please note that this position is offered as a 9 months employment: the first contract is a 3‑month probation period, followed by a 6‑month contract.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Create inbound delivery notes in SAP based on shipping documents

  • Maintain SAP handling units, including physical parameters of purchased materials

  • Work closely with Transport Planners and provide them with accurate data to ensure timely and efficient transport arrangement

  • Communicate with internal and external suppliers, clarifying discrepancies between shipping documents and purchase orders

  • Build strong relationships with Hitachi Energy’s purchasing and logistics teams, as well as direct-material suppliers

  • Coordinate the inbound delivery data flow from purchase order through SAP modules until the delivery is booked

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in logistics or purchasing

  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level, spoken and written)

  • Hands-on experience with SAP logistics or purchasing modules

  • Knowledge of transport terminology, regulations and incoterms

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Continuous Improvement mentality and mindset
