In data analysis at PwC, you will focus on utilising advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision-making. You will leverage skills in data manipulation, visualisation, and statistical modelling to support clients in solving complex business problems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and other data integration tools.
Build and maintain scalable, performant, and secure data warehouse solutions on Snowflake.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures within Snowflake.
Manage data ingestion from various sources such as batch, streaming, APIs
Implement and enforce data quality, data governance, and security best practices.
Monitor performance and optimize Snowflake environments for cost and efficiency.
Automate deployment and testing processes using CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and performance bottlenecks.
Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features, data engineering trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Data Engineer working with Snowflake.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake-specific SQL features.
Experience with data integration tools such as Apache Airflow,dbt, Talend, Informatica, or similar.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and orchestration.
