In SAP data and analytics at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for data and analytics solutions using SAP technologies. You will analyse client requirements, design and implement data management and analytics solutions, and provide training and support for effective utilisation of SAP data and analytics tools. Working in this area, you will work closely with clients to understand their data needs, develop data models, perform data analysis, and create visualisations and reports to support data-driven decision-making, helping them optimise their data management processes, enhance data quality, and derive valuable insights from their data to achieve their strategic objectives.

ASAP BW/4HANA Support Consultant is responsible formaintaining,troubleshooting, and optimizing a company's data warehousing environment. They manage incident resolution, perform root-cause analysis, and develop data models to ensure seamless integration between enterprise resource planning systems and analytics platforms
Responsibilities
Incident & Ticket Management:Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve daily support tickets regarding data extraction, loading, and reporting.
Data Modeling:Create and maintain optimized objects in SAP BW/4HANA including Advanced DataStoreObjects (ADSOs) andCompositeProviders
Performance Tuning:Monitor system performance, optimize data flow processes (DTPs), and troubleshoot slow-running queries or ETL jobs.
Landscape Management:Transport and deploy BW/4HANA objects across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
Business Coordination:Work with business users and functional consultants to gather requirements for minor enhancements or change requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills:Hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA data modeling and extractors (Standard and Custom).
Integration:Understanding of extraction from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
Programming/Scripting:Proficiency in SAP ABAP, specifically with CDS Views, User Exits, and BADI.
Reporting:Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ).
Soft Skills:Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in on-call or shift-based support models
Experience:3 to 4 Years relevant into SAP BW
Mandatory skill sets:
-Experience in XSA modelling and GitHub version management
-Knowledgewithwork with large datasets
-Should be a Team player and proactive in status reporting
-Should have excellent communication skills
-Must be self-motivated, responsive, and dedicated to customer success
-Knowledge of BODS/Control M is a plus
