These individuals offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their workforce, enhance employee engagement, and drive organisational effectiveness.
Those in employment law, tax and payroll at PwC will specialise in providing comprehensive legal and financial consulting services related to human resources. You will work closely with clients to confirm compliance with employment law and tax requirements. You will be responsible for providing guidance on employment contracts, employee benefits, payroll taxes, and help organisations mitigate legal risks, optimise tax strategies, and confirm compliance with regulations to support effective human resource management.

Responsibilities
1. India Payroll– end to end payroll processing including new joiner andresignee
2. Strong in data validation,reconciliationand analysis
3. Thorough knowledge on Tax (Salary TDS) and Statutory around payroll
4. Handling payroll related tax and statutory (PF, PT, ESIC and LWF) compliances – preparation, validation, filing through govt portal
5. Documents checking – reimbursements / Tax proofs
6. Employee query handling, handling issues work smartly, time and work management
7. Retiral benefits (PF, NPS, Gratuity, Leave encashment, Superannuation fundetc)
8. Visiting regulatory authorities for closure of payroll compliance related issues around PF, PT, LWF and ESIC
9. Knowledge on employee life cycle management and HR operations
10. Knowledge in Payroll software, GreytHR will be added advantage
Soft skills:
1. Ability to handle confidential data and sensitive situation
2. Strong communication skill – both written and verbal
3. Well versed in data analytics, worked in payroll software and other govt portals
4. Strong interpersonal skill, teammanagementand capability of working independently
5. Computerproficiency– should be proficient in word,xls, power point, working in network environment, payroll softwareetc
Others:
1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience dedicatedly in payroll
