In tax knowledge management at PwC, you will manage tax knowledge within the organisation. Responsibilities

The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Associate will include the following:

  • Analysing the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and other allied laws on technical issues impacting the TRS practice
  • Conducting detailed technical research for relevant case laws, circulars and other documents for providing a technical view on such issues
  • Preparing case for opinions/memos/responses and other deliverables on technical issues.
  • Proactively identifying technical issues which could impact the practice and conduct discussions with client teams
  • Providing necessary support to the client teams during the Union Budget
  • Assist in conducting internal Learning and Education (L&E) sessions.
  • Analysing new technical developments relating to direct taxes

Mandatory skill sets:

  • Basic knowledge of the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and the allied laws
  • Passion for research

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

Preferred skill sets: DT

Years of experience required: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-3 years of relevant work experience or a lawyer with at least two years of relevant experience.
