As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Responsibilities:
Lead and support end-to-end OTC processes, including:
Inquiry → Quotation → Sales Order → Delivery → Billing → Payment
Configure and support:
Pricing (Condition techniques, pricing procedures, rebates)
Output determination
Credit management
Shipping & delivery processing
Billing (Invoices, Credit/Debit memos)
Work on customer master data, material master, and partner functions
Design and implement sales document types, item categories, and schedule line categories
Manage intercompany sales & third-party processes
Work with returns, free goods, consignment, and service billing
Troubleshoot production issues and support business users
✅Variant Configuration (VC)
Design and implement Variant Configuration modelsfor customizable products
Develop:
Characteristics & Classes
Dependencies (Preconditions, Procedures, Constraints)
Object dependencies and configuration profiles
Work with BOM (Bill of Materials)and Routings
Configure:
Super BOM and Super Routing
Class types (300)
Integrate VC with SD sales order process (CU50, VA01 configuration)
Resolve VC-related inconsistencies and performance issues
Support advanced variant configuration (AVC)if applicable (S/4HANA)
✅Integration & Cross-Functional Work
Collaborate with:
MM (Material Management)– inventory & procurement
PP (Production Planning)– BOM, routings
FI/CO– billing, revenue recognition
Work on IDOCs, interfaces, and middleware integrations
Support EDI/Third-party system integrations
✅Project & Support Activities
Participate in:
Requirement gathering & workshops
Solution design & functional specifications
Unit testing, integration testing, UAT support
Prepare:
Functional specs (FS)
Configuration documents
Test scripts
Provide production support & incident resolution
Conduct end-user training
