As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
& Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developerwith 5+ years of enterprise-level experience, hands-on expertise in React.js, and a strong interest in leveraging AI tools such as Cursor, Claude AI LLM, and GitHub Copilotto enhance software development productivity and code quality.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java technologies on the backendand React.js on the frontend, while integrating AI-driven assistance in coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot
Develop responsive and high-performance frontend applications using React.js
Utilize AI-powered tools such as Cursor, Claude AI, and GitHub Copilot for code completion, code generation, refactoring suggestions, debugging, and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to integrate AI/LLM capabilities into development workflows where relevant.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve software quality and maintainability.
Work closely with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Maintain and enhance existing codebases using AI-assisted code analysis.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI development tools, and full stack development best practices.
Required Skills
5+ years of enterprise-level experience in full stack development.
Experience in product development is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Java 17+
Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar.
Strong frontend development experience with React.js, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
Experience with RESTful API design and integration
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude AI, or GitHub Copilot
Familiarity with Large Language Models for code generation, documentation automation, or NLP-based application features.
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Experience with build/package tools such as Maven, Gradle,npm, or yarn
Familiarity with unit testing, TDD, and automation frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Selenium, with SonarQube integration.
Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve development workflows.
Nice to Have
Experience with React state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience developing or integrating AI-powered chatbots, conversational UIs, or NLP features.
