Position 1: Technical Textiles Expert
Educational Qualifications
Mandatory:
B.Techin Textile Technology / Bachelors of Fashion Technology from a recognized university/institution
M.Techin Textiles / MBA from a reputed institute
Desirable:
Specialization in Technical Textiles, Nonwovens, Composites, or Allied Application Areas
Industry Experience
03-06 years of overall experience within which minimum 3 years in the Technical Textiles industry
Hands-on experience in one or more sub-segments: Meditech,Agrotech, Geotech,Buildtech,Mobiltech, Protech,Indutech, Sportech,Packtech,Hometech,Clothtech, orOekotech
Candidates with prior exposure to government-funded projects, industry bodies, or textile research associations will be preferred
Key Competencies
Strong domain knowledge of technical textiles manufacturing, applications, and value chain
Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity
Excellent research, data analysis, report writing, presentation, and communication skills
Position 2: SpecialtyFibreExpert
Educational Qualifications
Mandatory:
B.Techin Textile Chemistry / Textile Engineering orB.Techin Chemical Engineering from a recognized university/institution
M.TechinFibreScience /FibreTechnology / Polymer Science from a reputed institute
Desirable:
PhD orM.PhilinFibreScience, Polymer Engineering, or allied disciplines
Certifications or advanced coursework in high-performance or specialtyfibretechnologies (e.g., carbonfibre, aramid, UHMWPE, biodegradablefibres)
Industry / Research Experience
2 - 3 years of demonstrable experience in Man-Made fiber industry
Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience of working with specialtyfibressuch as carbonfibre, glassfibre, basaltfibre, ceramicfibre, aramid, UHMWPE, or bio-based/sustainablefibres
Key Competencies
Strong technical knowledge offibrescience, polymer chemistry, and manufacturing processes
Strong analytical, research, and scientific communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity
Position 3: Textiles Industry Expert
Educational Qualifications
Mandatory:
B.Techin Textile Technology from a recognized university/institution
Desirable:
Preference will be given to candidates withM.Techin Textiles / MF Tech (Master of Fashion Technology) / MFM (Master of Fashion Management) / MBA from a reputed institute
Consulting experience in a management consultancy, industry body, or government advisory firm
Exposure to textile value chain analytics, trade policy research, or investment promotion work
Industry & Consulting Experience
03-06 years of industry / consulting experience with textile/ technical textiles sector
Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with both conventional and technical textile
Prior consulting or advisory experience in the textiles, apparel, or allied manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred
Exposure to trade data analysis, policy drafting, market research, or market promotion will be an advantage
Experience in working with State or Central Government departments, industry associations, or multilateral bodies is valued
Key Competencies
Strong understanding of the textiles and technical textiles value chain and market — domestic and global
Proficiencyin data analysis, report writing, and presentation development
Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity
