Job Position Title:
Senior Associate_Python Data Engineer__Advisory _Data &Analytics_Mumbai
Responsibilities:
We’re hiring a strong Python developer to re-engineer legacy data workflows and support modernization efforts. The core focus is advanced scripting, data transformation, and automation. Exposure to cloud platforms like Snowflake and migration from on-prem systems is a big plus.
Expert in Python – OOPs, data structures, modular scripting
Strong with Pandas, NumPy for heavy data manipulation
Experience building automation workflows and utilities
Comfortable with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting
Ability to work with REST APIs for reporting, metadata, or orchestration
Required Skills
Exposure to data platform migration (e.g. KDB/q to cloud)
Familiarity with Snowflake, Snowpark, orPySpark
Understanding of KDB internals likerdb,hdb, and tick data
Preferred Qualifications
Write clean, production-ready Python code
Comfortable owning end-to-end automation workflows
Havea passion for optimizing and automating wherever possible
Mandatory skill sets:
Expert in Python with strong understanding of OOPs, data structures, and design principles
Hands-on with Pandas and NumPy for complex data manipulation and transformation
Experience in building automation scripts and frameworks for data and system workflows
preferred skill sets:
Strong Python Programmer (Primary) + StrongSQL,RDMBS+ Intermediate Scripting (Unix/Linux) + ETL
