& Summary:
We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Credit Risk Analyst to join our team and play a key role in evaluating client risk, supporting underwriting decisions, and enhancing risk management capabilities.
Responsibilities
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will lead due diligence reviews for Wealth Management clients and broker-dealers, assess financing and Prime Brokerage risks, perform portfolio and stress-testing analyses, and partner with Quantitative and Engineering teams to modernize risk frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead due diligence reviews for Wealth Management clients and broker-dealers from onboarding through periodic reviews.
Conduct portfolio-based analyses, including stress testing, concentration reviews, portfolio analytics, and exposure assessments.
Evaluate financing and Prime Brokerage risks while ensuring alignment with risk appetite and governance standards.
Partner with Risk, Quantitative, and Engineering teams to enhance margin methodologies, stress testing frameworks, risk monitoring, and escalation controls.
Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders and risk forums.
Support risk decision-making through robust underwriting and risk assessment practices.
✅ What We're Looking For
Experience in Credit Risk, Financing Risk, Wealth Management Risk, or Prime Brokerage Risk.
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience assessing portfolios, risk metrics, and stress-testing outcomes.
Proven experience leading due diligence and underwriting reviews for Wealth Management clients and/or broker-dealers.
Ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively to senior stakeholders.
Experience partnering with Quantitative and Engineering teams to improve risk analytics, monitoring, margining, or stress-testing frameworks.
Understanding of governance processes and escalation mechanisms within a First Line Risk/Credit environment.
AI proficiency with the ability to leverage AI tools for analysis, productivity, decision support, and workflow optimization while maintaining appropriate governance and controls.
