About the location:

Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. The five-star, five-diamond Resort offers outdoor restaurants, including Nobu Lāna’i, a kid’s club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool with spacious seating areas nestled among tropical gardens, Hawanawana spa and luxury retail boutiques. Built on lava outcroppings, the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course features ocean views on every hole. Island activities, many managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails and whale watch tours, horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures at Lanai Adventure Park or learn about Hawaiian wayfinding at the on-site observatory.

WHAT YOU’LLDO

The In Room Dining Coordinator manages guest in‑room dining orders via phone, iPad, and messaging platforms, ensuringaccuratecommunication of special requests to the kitchen. This role coordinatestimelydelivery of all ordersin accordance withFour Seasons standards and prepares, organizes, and follows through on all guest amenities to ensure a seamless and elevated guestexperience.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Anticipateguest needs,ascertainsatisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests

  • Utilize hotel computer systems and point‑of‑sale platforms to accurately enter and communicate guest in‑room dining orders, including all special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergy information, to the culinary team.

  • Review completed kitchen orders against the original guest request to ensure accuracy, presentation, and quality prior to delivery.

  • Coordinatetimelyand seamless delivery of in‑room dining orders by Room Service Servers tomaintainoptimalfood quality and an elevated guest experience.

  • Properly and accurately close guest checks, recordchargesand gratuities, and ensure all transactions are completedin accordance withFour Seasons standards.

  • Meticulously document and manage guest preferences, special instructions, dietary needs, and daily amenity deliveries,maintainingaccurateand organized records at all times.

  • Answer incoming calls using warm, professional, and efficient telephone etiquette while gathering all necessary information to process guest orders. Describe food and beverage offerings through engaging, vivid descriptions that highlight each item’s origin, flavor profile, and preparation.

  • Proactivelyanticipateguest needs, confirm satisfaction, offer thoughtful recommendations, and respond promptly and graciously to guest concerns and requests.

  • Coordinate guest amenity deliveries by ensuring all requests are received, processed, ordered from the kitchen, and delivered accurately and promptly.

WHAT TOBRING

  • Successful candidate mustpossesslegal work authorization in United States

  • The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours adayand scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability isrequired

  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearancecardand Hawaii Food Handler’s Card

  • Maui Liquor Card Preferred, but not required

  • Ability to stand for extended periods,lift upto30lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

  • Demonstrates strong customer‑service focus with keen attention to detail, professionalism, and composure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment;maintainsan organized workspace and collaborates effectively within a team.

  • Possesses excellent communication and telephone etiquette, solid menu and ingredient knowledge, and the ability to multitask and prioritize orders; proficient in basic computer systems and POS platforms, with the ability to communicate accurately and professionally by phone
