Responsibilities:
PwC is looking for a seasoned operations professional to join our Advisory practice. You will bridge the gap between traditional industrial operations and the future of sustainable manufacturing. Leveraging your 8+ years of hands-on experience in Chemicals, Pulp & Paper, or FMCG, you will advise C-suite clients onoptimizingtheir assets while integrating New Green Technologies (e.g., Decarbonization, Circular Economy, Hydrogen, and Bio-based processes).
Key Responsibilities
Operational Transformation: Lead end-to-end operational diagnostics toidentifyinefficiencies in manufacturing processes, yield optimization, and supply chain flow.
Green Tech Integration: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for transitioning traditional plants to green alternatives. This includes assessing the feasibility of carbon capture, renewable energy integration, and waste-to-energy systems.
Project Leadership: Manage complex advisory workstreams, frominitialstrategy and techno-economic feasibility studies to the practical "boots on the ground" implementation of process improvements.
Client Relationship Management: Build trust with Plant Managers and COO-level stakeholders bydemonstratingdeep "floor-level" empathy and technical authority.
Capability Building: Mentor junior consultants on the technical nuances of process industries (e.g., mass balance, thermal efficiency, and chemical safety).
Required Qualifications & Skills
1. Industrial Experience (Non-Negotiable)
8–9 years of professional experience witha significant portionspent in on-site operations within:
Chemicals Specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, oragro-chemicals.
Pulp & Paper Large-scale mill operations and fiber processing.
FMCG High-speed manufacturing/packaging lines (Food, Beverage, or Home Care).
2. Green Technology Expertise
Practical experience in implementing or managing Sustainable Technology at an operational level.
Familiarity with Decarbonization frameworks, Net-Zero roadmaps, or Circularity in manufacturing (e.g., water recycling, solvent recovery, orbio-plastics).
3. Functional Skills
Deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma, TPM, or Operational Excellence frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and EHS standards.
Ability to translate complex technical data into business-driven ROI for executive presentations.
