The In-life & End of Life Leasing Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive, compliant, and efficient management of leasing activities throughout the entire asset lifecycle — from operational modifications to contract closure. The specialist supports operational continuity and cost optimization by coordinating both in-life (active) and end-of-life (EOL) leasing processes, ensuring contractual compliance, financial accuracy, and documentation integrity.
1.Managing In-life Leasing Activities
- Administer key in-life leasing processes, including lease novations, asset swaps and replacements, location changes, early returns, buyouts, and extensions.
- Collaborate with financial partners and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant transaction execution.
- Ensure documentation compliance by maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and storing them in approved repositories.
- Monitor pricing and procedural compliance, reconciling rates, discount structures, and UPM caps with internal policies and agreements.
2. Coordinating End-of-Life (EOL) Activities
- Manage end-of-contract transactions (returns, buyouts, extensions) in collaboration with lessors and financial partners.
- Align on financial implications, residual values, and cost optimization strategies.
- Oversee financial workflows, validating invoices and monitoring the budgetary impact of EOL transactions.
- Coordinate documentation readiness for audits, ensuring full traceability and procedural compliance.
3. Strategic Support and Lifecycle Optimization
- Contribute to proactive planning for contract maturities and develop strategies for renewal, replacement, or exit.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for extension versus buyout scenarios.
- Monitor EOL volumes and trends to support strategic decisions related to supplier performance and fleet evolution.
