In-House Marketing Agent

Base + commission!

Location: 4 days in Daytona Beach - Grand Seas, 1 day in New Smyrna - New Smyrna Waves
Job

Summary
The In-House Marketing Agent will work speaking to and soliciting qualified In-House guests including owners, exchangers, and renters to attend our vacation ownership presentation or owner’s update presentation when they arrive at the resort. The In-House Marketing Agent will also be responsible for pre-booking owners arriving at the resort using branded and scripted scripts prior to their arrival to attend the Owner Update Presentation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Interact with guests to build excitement and prepare them for the presentation.
- Delivers a branded and scripted marketing pitch for each guest type.
- Books qualified In-House guests for a Vacation Ownership or Owner Update Presentation.
- Maintains the site minimum standard for tour production set by management.
- Provides guests with site and area information upon request.
- Remains current on all area attractions, events, and dining options.
- Reports all negative customer experiences to management.
- Responsible for attending all staff meetings and training, as requested by management.
- Performs accurate accounting and reporting of all shift(s) details as directed by the manager.
- Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
- All other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1 year of In-House Marketing or OPC experience is preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages and discounts.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Good telephone skills and face-to-face people skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Able to use sound judgment; and work independently, with minimal supervision.
