The Position

Job Title

In House Financial Advisor – Delos

The In-House Financial Advisor is responsible for managing and growing a defined book of client relationships transitioned from senior advisors and the broader bank footprint. This role focuses on delivering a consistent, high-quality Delos Capital Advisors and bank client experience while converting eligible clients to advisory or digital investment solutions managed by Delos portfolio managers.

This position is designed as a career-track advisory role, providing meaningful client ownership, revenue-based upside, and a clear path to advancement for high-performing advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management & Transitions

  • Assume primary responsibility for assigned client relationships transitioned from Senior Advisors

  • Participate in client transition meetings, calls, and outreach to ensure continuity of service

  • Work with bank customer referrals below a certain level

  • Serve as the ongoing point of contact for assigned clients following transition

  • Deliver a consistent Delos and bank-branded client experience across all interactions

Advisory & Brokerage Services

  • Manage client assets using:

    • Delos model portfolios for all advisory relationships (exclusive)

    • A limited set of firm-approved brokerage products (e.g., fixed annuities, brokered CDs)

  • Focus on converting eligible brokerage clients to:

    • Delos-managed advisory accounts, or

    • Approved Delos-managed digital investment solutions

  • Conduct periodic client reviews, respond to service needs, and coordinate account activity

  • Identify when client needs increase in complexity and escalate appropriately

Digital Platform Enablement

  • Develop working knowledge of the firm’s approved digital investment platform(s)

  • Educate clients on platform features, onboarding, and basic navigation

  • Answer routine questions related to digital account usage and functionality

  • Coordinate with internal operations or technology teams when advanced support is required

Revenue Growth & Book Development

  • Grow revenue within the assigned book through:

    • Increased advisory adoption

    • Improved client engagement and retention

    • Migration of appropriate clients to digital, revenue-sharing solutions

  • Track and manage key performance indicators, including:

    • Assets under care

    • Revenue per household

    • Advisory conversion rates

  • Demonstrate readiness for expanded responsibility through disciplined execution and results

Compliance, Standards & Collaboration

  • Adhere strictly to approved product lists, portfolio models, and supervisory requirements

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all regulatory and compliance standards

  • Collaborate with Senior Advisors, Delos Portfolio Management, Trust Services, and Operations teams

  • Participate in required training, travel, and professional development initiatives

Important Role Parameters

  • In-House Financial Advisors do not manage custom portfolios

  • Advisory assets must be managed exclusively using Delos portfolios

  • Product access is limited to firm-approved brokerage offerings

  • Client relationships assigned to this role are intended to be long-term enterprise relationships

  • Advancement is based on objective performance metrics and business results

Performance Expectations

  • Successful transition and retention of assigned client relationships

  • Measurable conversion of brokerage clients to advisory or digital solutions

  • Consistent delivery of the Delos and bank client experience

  • Demonstrated revenue growth and book stability

  • Effective collaboration with Senior Advisors during transition periods

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in wealth management, brokerage, or financial advisory services

  • Experience working with retail or mass-affluent clients preferred

  • Comfort managing a high volume of client relationships

Licensing

  • FINRA Series 7 – Required

  • FINRA Series 66 – Required

  • State insurance licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

  • Ability to explain investment concepts clearly and professionally

  • Comfort with technology and digital investment platforms

  • High level of organization, follow-through, and professionalism

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client transitions

  • Strong interest in long-term career growth within Wealth Management

Compensation & Growth Opportunity
