Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage engagement in activities.
  • Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding if required.
  • Medication reminders, as instructed and assist with basic health monitoring.
  • Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
  • Escort clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
  • Observe and report changes in client conditions to the care team.
  • Document services provided and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Assist with administrative tasks (scheduling, data entry, training) when caregiving hours are light
  • Opportunities for advancement into team leadership roles
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required and verifiable)
  • Experience in caregiving is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and basic technology.
  • Residing in the service location/ nearby surrounding locations or willing to relocate before starting
  • Reliable personal transportation means and willingness to travel to the service/ nearby surrounding locations
  • Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
  • Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
