Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide quality in-home support to our clients in the Mira Mesa area.

As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and other support based on each client's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist clients with memory-related challenges and changes in behavior
• Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Assist with mobility and transfers when appropriate
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Document care activities and follow individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and members of the care team
• Respect client privacy, dignity, independence, and personal boundaries

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of caregiving experience
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client boundaries
• Physically capable of assisting with transfers or other mobility needs
• Comfortable providing personal care, including care for male clients
• Empathetic, patient, and understanding
• Attentive to client needs and able to adapt to different personalities and care situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable and professional

Requirements

• Previous caregiver experience preferred
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance
