The opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the digital transformation and continuous improvement agenda within GCB. As Improvement Project Manager – Data & Digital Analytics, you will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology, driving data driven initiatives that improve operational efficiency, transparency, and decision-making quality. You will design and deliver scalable digital and analytics solutions using modern cloud technologies, enabling standardized KPIs, reliable insights, and sustainable automation. By collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders, you will directly contribute to measurable performance improvements and support the organization’s long-term digital maturity.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead digital and continuous improvement projects from concept to rollout and stabilization

  • Define project scope, milestones, KPIs, governance, and success criteria aligned with business priorities

  • Ensure data availability, quality, consistency, and compliant usage across GCB

  • Design and implement cloud based analytics and data processing solutions

  • Work extensively with Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, analysis, and modeling

  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement automation to reduce manual effort and cycle times

  • Enable standardized KPIs and transparent reporting for management decision-making

  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder expectations

Your background

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related STEM field

  • 2- 3 years relevant working experience

  • Strong data engineering and analytics skills (SQL, relational databases, cloud analytics, Databricks)

  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA data

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Proven track record delivering digitalization, process automation, and improvement initiatives

  • Structured, analytical mindset with strong business communication skills

  • Excellent project management, ownership, and execution focus

  • Collaborative, proactive, and self-driven with a passion for digital innovation and continuous improvement

  • Business fluent in English and German
