Impression Scanning Technician

Sonova is seeking an Impression Scanning Technician to join our Production team in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and digitally scanning impressions received for custom orders, while supporting the release of Unitron orders. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with technology, and interested in learning more about hearing aid manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare impressions received for custom orders
  • Digitally scan impressions using required scanning equipment and processes
  • Release Unitron orders as part of the production workflow
  • Perform Smart Optics Axis Adjustment maintenance as required
  • Complete quality control activities in alignment with ISO Quality Policy requirements
  • Follow work instructions, safety standards, ESD requirements, and workplace cleanliness expectations
  • Communicate closely with Order Entry and the RSM Modeling team to support proper workflow

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome, no previous experience required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to follow work instructions precisely
  • Comfortable working in a team environment while also working with minimal supervision
  • Basic 3D imagination skills preferred
